Active Weekend

Great weekend, though Saturday was a little tiring.  Started off with the trip up Cypress for X-Country skiing, which proved to be more difficult than I remembered.  Thing is, I was doing the "Classic" skiing, not skate skiing... being a former hockey player, I suspect I would have found the former a touch easier.

Anyway, some weights and a swim in the afternoon to finish it off, then on Sunday took my mom (who was visiting) up for a hike in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve (formerly the Seymour Demonstration Forest) to enjoy a hike in the sunshine.  I was glad to get out... though I thought it was a little excessive to see some of those guys with their shirts off... not quite that warm!
